ISLAND ONE SOCIETY
Again, not one million parsecs from the AAA itself, the Island One Society looks to the problems inherent in setting up new communities in high orbit.

SPACE: NOW OR NEVER
"Dedicated to the proposition that it is human destiny to explore the universe, that the exploration of space offers vast rewards, both economic and spiritual, and that if we who believe this don't act now to support space exploration, humanity may well never get off this planet." In a nutshell.

SOCIETY FOR INTERNATIONAL SPACE CO-OPERATION
SISC Mission statement: "We have progressed to a time when technology is no longer the major obstacle to space exploration. It is the political decisions and cost issues that will drive any future space ventures. By promoting International cooperation in space we not only lower the costs for individual nations but go a long way towards promoting International understanding and a peaceful future." Site also features plans for a worldwide collection of International Space Exploration Resource Centers.
