As part of the earshot research and development phase, Andi Freeman
has created software to explore specific technical aspects of
the project. These have included Notscape, which reassembles web
pages by splattering their text and image content into new forms,
and <head>banger, an audio-visual sound machine that translates
HTML code into percussive sequences, complete with a Beats-Per-Minute
counter.
